Statement
My practice is developed through the study of new technologies for manipulation, 3D printing, rendering, animations and installation. These tools allow the creation of sculptural forms of digitally conceived objects that always have an impact on our reality. During the design process rules of interweaving between the online and the physical world have to be taken into account: these two realities cannot avoid a certain kind of communication, they cannot be divided, hence why they are both fundamental tools for research. Therefore, in this continuous passage, occurs a deconstruction of contemporary and classic forms through the transition from a physical to a digital space, which thanks to the modeling process returns to our reality with a new appearance.
Repetition, overstrain, saturation "harass" the work, which ends each time in search of a new way to satiate.
Il lavoro si sviluppa attraverso lo studio delle nuove tecnologie per manipolazione, stampa di oggetti 3D, rendering, animazioni e installazione. Questi strumenti consentono la creazione di forme scultoree, di oggetti concepiti digitalmente che hanno sempre una ricaduta sul reale. Nella progettualità vigono regole di intrecci tra il mondo online e quello fisico: i due non possono non comunicare, non possono essere divisi, sono entrambi strumenti fondamentali per la ricerca. In questo passaggio continuo avviene, quindi, una decostruzione delle forme contemporanee e classiche attraverso il passaggio da uno spazio fisico a uno digitale, che grazie alla modellazione ritorna al mondo con nuove sembianze.
La ripetizione, l’esubero, la saturazione “assillano” tutto il lavoro, che si conclude di volta in volta, alla ricerca di un nuovo modo per saziarsi.
